I'm sitting here eating a cheeseburger that was fried in butter on a Martin's Potato Bread roll with a nice layer of Sauteed Onions (also fried in butter) and a reasonable amount of Heinz 57 Ketchup. As a side, I'm having oven roasted Yukon Gold potatoes seasoned with salt, black pepper, oregano and garlic powder. It doesn't get much better than this.Just thought I'd make y'all jealous.
red beans and rice with oven fried Jalapeno cornbread

Old HeadDAMMIT !You're killing me. I miss crawfish so much. Hot enough to make my lips swell up.2 long necks required- 1 to drink & the 2nd to cool my face on the side of the bottle.Believe me- steamed clams are NO substitute for a beer flat full of mud-bugs, corn, & new potato's, & juice running down your arms dripping off your elbows.Ain't nothing like it in the world.
Tonight's dinner is the same as every night's dinner. Organic rolled oats, almond milk, unsalted peanuts and 1/3 of a banana. Dessert is one whole wheat bagel with canola spread. At my age a body mass index of 20, no aches and no meds, do not come without some self-care. Yes, I'm a vegan...How did you guess? And yes, yes, I know you'll all outlive me. Just sayin'...Ralph
A can of pork and beans with two cans of sardines. A big chunk of limburger cheese and a quart of chunky buttermilk. Topped off with a Moon Pie for dessert. Life is good.Tex
