Are "no helmets" still an option in the land of the free & the home of the brave? That "medical exemption" escape clause was rescinded in Oz sometime in the late 70s/ early 80s from memory.
We're all adults (even 'though I'm frequently accused by family of behaving otherwise), so apart from the drain on national fiscal & medical resources of road trauma, does the "own risk" rule still apply in other jurisdictions?
I've been likewise culpable myself, with rare & occasional "easy rider" wind-in-the-hair cranial nakedness around the farm & the odd bush track. Justifiable on the premise that I'm assuming responsibility for my own personal idiocy & irresponsibility.
