Benelli

What's this stuff being called "Benelli" ?

Have the cycles been out of marketplace long enough for someone to squat on the name?  I know they were bought by an Asian company a few years back- I think the last Tornado was under that ownership.

Interesting, not sure what it is but interesting.

I'd rather have a real Benelli Shotgun, in 12 GA  ;D

I don't really know what it is since it doesn't have "trials" tires as I know them to be but it looks like fun. One of the funnest bikes I ever owned was an old XL 175 Honda that I semi trails-ed out and this looks like a modern interpretation of what I was going for. I don't like jumping in the "gettin' air" vein but do often find myself driving aggressively off of things and always wanted more clearance from my dirt rides.

That in mind - this looks like a rockin' Arizona mountain ride for me - I guess a powered mountain bike as it were. Dunno about the range though.

Actually Benelli Motor is property of Qianjiang Group, and is an healty brand in China, with several dedicated dealers and showrooms, but probably the guy of the ad only wanted stress the assonance with Benelli Armi (property of Beretta).

My Café Racer, 1130cc triple torquemeister wheelie popper, was made in Pesaro, Italy. From my cold, dead hands.

The Benelli bikes are still made in Pesaro, only they are sold mainly in China by now.
