Cannonball Guzzi

Anyone have information on when this Guzzi compete in the Cannonball ride? It is sitting in the Italian Motorcycle Museum near Rimini in Italy.

It was in 2014. There were two Of them that were brought over for the event. Somewhere I have some pictures. I will have to look for them.
On of them had an interesting exhaust set up with a guillotine style perforated plate that would swing into the pipe as a silencer. I can’t imagine it was real effective.

I saw a couple iterations of the exhaust cut-off plate on Guzzi's at the Italian Motorcycle Museum, Gilera used them as well on the Saturno and probably others
