Modified Roamer.........anyone?

Ok call me crazy but I’ve been thinking about a Roamer, again.  :shocked:
I know but that motor just haunts me, I dunno, whatever.

Anyhoo, I’ve seen some with a V7 fuel tank and liked the look.
Now I’m wondering if anyone has put an 18” front tire on one?
Any other mods?

I know it would cost a few pesos but they can be had for pretty reasonable $’s right now.

I believe Sarah Greer or her husband Doug did the tank.

I wouldn't bother with the wheel/tire.

But I totally get the idea.

Do you think lowering the triple tree by an inch would be ok and kind of offset the 19” wheel diameter or not really?
The format end was vague on the Roamer and I didn’t like the balloon tires of the Bobber.

I honestly can't say. Maybe I should retract my previous statement as I've only ridden the Bobber (and loved it and had no problem with that front tire).

You rode the Roamer then and didn't like the front end feel?

I had 2 Roamers and a Bobber.
The Bobber actually handled better, just didn’t like the balloon front.
The Roamers actually felt light and vague.
