I’ve been asked to keep these monthly meetings n greets going and after todays showing of eight people I’ve had a change in heart.  I was also asked if some riders would like to spend the weekend with their spouses/significant other on the weekend of Dec 10th in Helen Ga and then have our meet n greet lunch Saturday at 1pm as scheduled ?  Your thoughts about that?  Thank you

One of the riders mentioned bringing their wife’s and spending the weekend in Helen Georgia.  Some other riders had mentioned it as a possibility.  If you want to commit to doing that note it here so I know!

There is a little (couple of riders) interest by riders on this site to go to the meet n greet lunch on Dec 10.  However a couple riders from other sites are possibly going if weather is nice therefore…

Reminder, this meet n greet lunch is weather permitting as some want to ride to the lunch if that’s doable.  If weather is bad we will cancel.  I will update on here as needed.  Thank you for your understanding!

I sure would like to ride down from Dunlap.  Would have to spend the night in Helen (NOT camping  ).  I'm just about cleared for takeoff and sure would like to get away for a day or two.  Give me a chance to make sure my heated gear still works.  Just have to wait and see.

Extended forecast for Helen Ga says 42 degrees with rain for 10 December.  Maybe we should cancel???  Il watch weather and there isn’t many that want to go anyways.  Il keep posting updates on here as it gets closer

Scheduling anything in the months of Dec. Jan & Feb is always a crap-shoot wx wise.  Fingers crossed for the next one.

Hay the Camp out at your house was good and at the right time of year too.   The FALL COLOR RIDE  getting there was just the start of a nice adventure.   Then the nice camp-ground , the meal meeting , and to top it off ... A CAR SHOW and walk a bout to boot !

Maybe there will be a nice Saturday in January ?    When I get a new 2023 Calendar (hopefully next week) with the Moon phases on it , I'll compare the Moon phase's and weather relationship with the last three year for the same phase's for 2023... and ... let ya know which Saturday will be Sunny and dry.

I got my wife's calendar out (since I don't have one of my own yet) .

Looking at the years 2020, 21, 22 "Moon's and Weather"  :

The New Moon on the 21st is going to be the most likely Saturday for "Rideable" weather.  Cold 25 in morning and up to low 50's for the afternoon.   A two hour ride each way with an hour for lunch , would get me up and out.      

We'll see what the weather lady say's when we get close !   All the nice days are in the middle of the weeks !
