Lario Headlight Sealed Beam
« on: March 27, 2017, 06:43:53 PM »
My Lario has an oblong sealed beam headlight but its the wrong dimension, has a good 1-1/2" gap at the bottom.
Does anyone know a part No for a better looking fit?
I'm not too worried about light output, I rarely ride at night, I just want a replacement that looks better fit.

Thanks
Roy

Regular rectangle headlight.  Sounds like you're missing the big rubber around the sealed beam.  They're hard to find.  You may find one used.  I gave up on buying one.

I used some foam  weather strip as suggested.  Maybe next time some wind screen rubber.

i purchased a Lario brand new in 1988. Guess what, it was delivered without that rubber on the headlight. the fairing wobbled around like a c--k in a sock. The dealer robbed one off another bike for me. Probably another new one.

Viggo found a NOS gasket for his CX. I have not had the same luck, I think weather strip is looking better.

I'm sure the light on mine has a different height to width ratio, what do you think?

Sorry Photobucket is being a right pain at the moment.
