There's a light switch on the dash feeding about 8 inches of two conductor wire ending in female bullet connectors.
If anyone has a complete Convert could you describe what the light looks like and where it mounts.
I'm just curious as to what this light looked like, if I replace it at all I will use an LED
There's also a pair of wires under the tank RH side and a Low Fuel lamp on the dash but my bike doesn't have a switch in the tank or a spot for one, I wonder if someone swapped the tank out or it was discontinued?
Mine is a 76, she's a bit dirty from riding in the rain.

The switch is there for whatever you want to use it forI have a complete 76 Convert that switches in the upper right corner excuse me lower right corner on my convert and it doesn't do anything the wires are just hanging into breeze it's a gift from the factory usually for whatever you want But may I suggest if you're gonna run power through it use a relay Other than that it can just hang there and do nothing like mine is doing

I have that switch hooked up to my Kuryakyn battery gauge and GPS. I think it may have originally powered a light for a police officer to write a ticket by.
Sounds like someone has swapped your tank for a T or T3 one.

That makes sense, so mine never terminated in a light, I will have to have one now so I can tell that story LOL
I wonder why they would have swapped it out?

Thanks for your response, so i'm not missing anything then.
I once had a VB Ariel with a hand inspection lamp, a little brass lamp fitting in the in-tank dash.
