Just picked up an 04 and liking it so far but need a few tweaks please;

Anyone have advice for risers or changing to Nevada bars for up and back? If so, all cables replaced for either or select ones for each? I have long arms and torso and have had to put risers on almost every upright seating position bike i've owned…. :o

Lastly, anyone decat and add K&N with different exhaust like a 2 into 1? How much performance/hp can you expect? Is it worth it? Thanks!  :PICS!:

De-cat, rock strainer and silly pipe will get you approximately three fifths of bugger-all in terms of a performance boost but will make it run poorly in the bottom end and midrange and accelerate engine wear. Rather than wasting money on crap like that I'd suggest buying a sump extension. Can't help with the ergo question.

Some careful rerouting of the cables will allow for a small rise and pullback . Wonder if the risers from a later V7 will work ?
