I think only two of the three were Kiwis. Still, a darn good effort. :thumb:

Yes - well done

I've done Le Mans 3 times now twice as a young man and once as an old giffer with my stepson

There's something very intriguing about walking about at 02:00 in the morning eating Belgium Waffles with squirty cream and watching race cars go past at 150 MPH +

If you can find a way to go ........ go - its great fun

Audi withdrew from World Endurance racing....

The two New Zealand drivers were Earl Bamber and Brendon Hartley....joined by German endurance legend Timo Bernhard...

so two Porsches and two Toyotas in LMP1?

LMP2 all spec engines?  I wonder if they should restrict it to GT cars.  Or only allow GT engines in the prototypes?

IIRC, each of them fielded 3 cars...it was the #8 Porsche, which had been virtually written off after spending nearly 70 minutes in the garage, that came from 56th place to 1st place by driving their hearts out...the only Toyota left finished 8th but now today the 3rd-place Rebellion Racing entry has had their podium finish revoked for illegally modifying the body so I guess now the lone Toyota finished 7th officially...
