Went buy the grocery store tonight to pick up fixings for Rueben Sandwiches (YUM! ). Took a peak down the paper product aisle because the wife asked.
Nothing!!! Not even paper plates! I understand colored party napkins and kleenex, but paper plates??? I suppose you could use them to scrape, but then how do you flush them?
Fortunately, I'm prepared. She's given me grief for years about my stockpile of old socks and underwear that I use for cleaning / polishing rags. I especially catch hell when I load them in the washer and cause the laundry room to smell of carnuba and rubbing compound ( better than lavender IMO).
I've volunteered my stash. I mean if it's good enough for A Daytona RS gastank …
The response was not as gratuitous as was expected.
We shall see.

Over here it’s become impossible to buy bum fodder..
A lot of people think they are making decent preparations for trouble to come..
They’re just “papering over the cracks..”

My wife went to the food store this evening, 4pm is was a madhouse in the parking lot and she came back later.

No TP, PT, hand cleaner, water, hamburger, milk, frozen french fry type stuff, eggs. Not even vanilla with chocolate swirl ice cream cups for crying out loud.

The funny part will be when everybody wants to return their 2 year supply of TP to get their money back.

The only place in my town to get TP is ALDI's. I guess folks are afraid to wipe with European TP, lol....

I had a similar thought, but it involved running the garden hose and spray gun through a window.

I only know two "U Lines"; one sells refrigeration units and the other sells shipping boxes and supplies. Are people stocking up on supplies for shipping live bait?
