I want to go but I am currently looking at a conflict. I will most likely do the Broken Arrow rally, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Lots of riders in the Southwest wanted to go last year, but unfortunately COVID ruined most of 2020 for many of us, aka, "The Lost Year..."  Now, many of us have been vaccinated, so the flood gates are open!

On my radar.  Looking at this then Lake Henshaw after the National.  Then the big bike goes to the Pacific Moto Guzzi Refuge in Kona for "road surfing" sessions.  That's the plan for now.  🤙🤙🤙

I have been going to this rally for years. Didn't make it in 2020 due to COVID.
However, there are riders coming from: AZ, TX, UT, CO, CA, NM, and many other states.
Usually draws 75+ riders from these states and more... :thumb:    :boozing:

I have it penciled in.  It is 1400 miles from home, but hopefully I will be riding in the general vicinity around then.

The roads, landscape, and riding in Datil, New Mexico is stunning... :thumb: :boozing:

I am sure the landscape and scenery in Cedar Vale is equally as nice, although the last time I passed through Kansas was on my way to Vail / Aspen, CO to go skiing...and I was only 18.

There is something alluring and magically about the wide open spaces of the Midwest and Southwest...  :boozing:

Guess it is what you are looking for or may be what you do not know you are missing. Latest nightclub or hot restaurant, nope. Beautiful and impressive scenery (Datil) and solitude, wide open skies and a more subtle scenery but still beautiful (Cedar Vale).
Cedar Vale area is where you can ride 20 miles and not meet another vehicle but if you break down someone(s) will come out of nowhere and offer any assistance they can, probably feed you and give you a beer. As a first time visiter to the KS Flinthills from Tokyo once said. "I sat on a hilltop and wept in joy from the wonderful solitude and inner peace."

I'm thinking of taking the rv this year.  That way I can stay at the rally site and not have to ride back and forth from Quemado.
