MG racing sidecar VRRA Mosport CTMP photo

I didn't get to the VRRA Fall Classic races this year, but when I was going through the photos, I found this gem.

I've seen some interesting guzzi's on the track with the VRRA; Dave Roper has even shown up on his favorite, an old single cylinder factory racer, but I've never seen a guzzi sidecar rig before.

I don't know who the owners/riders of the rig are, but it appears to be well put together. This rig seems to be exceptionally high, most of the racing outfits are made low or cut down quite a bit, but this rig looks to be close to stock height.

The monkey appears to be getting quite the workout at speed, climbing back and forth over the top of that old girl

That would be Wisconsin's own husband and wife team: Eric and Celia Trosper. Check out their adventures at <loudvalveracing.com>
More than one observer has noted that bike makes some wonderful noise!
Based on a V7 Sport with a mostly stock frame so it's in a different class than the 'kneelers'...

I've been looking for that good monkey my whole life. I got rid of my sidecar because it just was not as much fun as riding two wheels to me. But if one has a good monkey it is a real blast.

You don't halve to be short to be fast. An old friend used to fill in to make the minimum for a race with a Mille GT I put a sidecar(Hedingham) on and got 2nd with a streetbike. That was in the 90's, Erick was racing then too. Sidecars aren't for everyone but are fun to go fast on, like a sportscar.

Gad-zoox, that looks like big fun. I'd gladly tour on that rig. Especially 'cuz it can't fall over standing still.  R3~
