A few years ago we had about 18-20 inches of snow on the ground
I had an kawi 100 enduro. i rode it to the back field and rode around made some paths.
then started riding a bit faster leaning off  dragging me knee in  my carhart coveralls laughing my ass off.
i had the best time.
That video was OK  I thought he would be carving some corners

Because It's There ... !   They had to start it with a regular tire on the back, then swap the wheel out for the spiked one while it was idling ... I suppose they can do that a lot quicker than I could!   It'd be out of gas before I got done changing it ....

I find it hard to believe that Honda would allow a multi-million euro asset like Marque do a nutter thing like ride a MotoGP bike up a mountain in the snow. I think he rode a few meters and someone else did the crazy bits. Just my conspiracy theory.

I used to have a `74 Rickman Montesa 250 dirt bike(beautifull) with an aluminum bash plate to protect the motor on the underside and once tried to ride it in snow.........it worked 'till the snow packed under the bash plate and then the rear knobby tire just spun with no traction.

Well, they have a thing called a contract.   They can't control every action in his life to his employers' benefit, so they probably have a bunch of limitations on what he can do, like flying a wingsuit, bungee-jumping, or appear in a Jackass movie.

I'll bet they forgot to include "ride a MotoGP bike up a mountain in the snow" in their list of prohibited activities ....

I'd rather fall on snow than on pavement, and so would you. I see people unload onto snow at 50mph twice or more each week, and unless there's a tree collision involved, they invariably dig the powder out of their goggles and proceed.
