I am aware that there were some minor differences in the 35mm forks used on Tonti framed big blocks. Is it really necessary to have at least 4 different amounts of fork oil in the respective manuals and even conflicting amounts in a single manual. Amounts from 50 ccs to 80 ccs are listed in the various manuals. I have a 1989 Mille GT, there is no specific manual for a Mille so I was trying to extrapolate the information from the various manuals. I have reached information overload and have decided to take the middle road at 60 ccs unless someone wiser has different wisdom and would like to share.

Literally anything non zero is correct

I don't know the answer to your question but 50 or 80cc doesn't seem right to me. I would have expected it to be something over 200cc per leg.
50cc is the same volume as 50ml which is just over 3 tablespoons?

That got me chucklin Mike! That is as I suspected, with amounts all over the place I kinda figured that 50 ccs is the minimum and 80 ccs the maximum and will assume so from now on. I know it is only for lube but just thought I'd check the brain trust..
Thanks Mike!

Its only for lubrication, all the damping is done by the sealed 'dampers'.

That explains it, I didn't know that and feel silly now. 😋

Do you have Guzziology? That info. is in it. I can look latter if you'd like. Edit: Guzziology lists 60 cc per leg.

Charlie I looked and missed it. It's listed in the section "Larger forks for the late Mille", that was not what I was looking for so didn't read it. Brings to mind a final exam I had in the 80s. Top of the page said "read everything before doing anything". Those who didn't read everything were yelling their names out loud on question 3. The last line was "don't do anything except put your name in the top right corner". Yes I passed but stopped myself and went back and reread the instructions at question 3. So I didn't 4 point the exam.
Thanks for the confirmation Charlie!
