I don't know the answer to your question but 50 or 80cc doesn't seem right to me. I would have expected it to be something over 200cc per leg.50cc is the same volume as 50ml which is just over 3 tablespoons?
Its only for lubrication, all the damping is done by the sealed 'dampers'.
I am aware that there were some minor differences in the 35mm forks used on Tonti framed big blocks. Is it really necessary to have at least 4 different amounts of fork oil in the respective manuals and even conflicting amounts in a single manual. Amounts from 50 ccs to 80 ccs are listed in the various manuals. I have a 1989 Mille GT, there is no specific manual for a Mille so I was trying to extrapolate the information from the various manuals. I have reached information overload and have decided to take the middle road at 60 ccs unless someone wiser has different wisdom and would like to share.Brian
