Sidecars were a class at Loudon at the old track in the 70's early 80's.

In the northeast, USCRA (United States Classic Racing Association) has a sidecar class. This year, only 4 or 5 hit the (paved) track when they visited Loudon, all were airheads. Would love to see some on dirt track some day.

Sidecar racing is still a thing here in New Zealand, Street races at Greymouth and the famous Wanganui "Cemetery Circuit". Here's a short clip of a Classic Guzzi powered "chair" at Wanganui...Sounds awesome! https://youtu.be/aN5JKyG7-sU

That was cool! Thanks for sharing. I love sidecars. I am currently in the process of building my third rig.

When I lived in Great Britain in the middle 70's we would go to motocross races. They had a a sidecar class. They ran the same course as the bikes but short cut several of the tighter turns on the track. The dominant rig was the Norton Wasp. Being insane would have had to be a requirement for the monkey...
