The BMW demo truck was at Maxs BMW today at the South Windsor Ct store, so living just a couple of miles away I took a ride over on my KLX250 ( which has a story all it's own in the afternoon. I really wanted to ride the new EV scooter they have but they didn't have one to ride I guess they couldn't keep it charged for demo rides so I went the other way and signed up for the Big GS. Yup it nice but should be for almost 20K a little vibbie and I was surprised the gear box was on the clunky side, not bad, better then my 97 R1100RS I had. The route was on roads I ride all the time, so some nice curves on some crappy roads. Bike handles grade doesn't feel as big as it is, laughs at the broken up roads, Gets up to 70 fast with out even giving it a lot of gas. So yup seems like a good bike.
On a side note our local police where set up on a nice 90 degree corner on Scantic River Road and also across the street from the dealership. never seen that before at a demo day.
