Good deed
« on: September 22, 2022, 08:26:53 AM »
Last week I sold some luxury timepieces  for a friend(Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet )and he was generous enough to give me enough to purchace a 07 Griso 1100 from a freind in St Augustine with 13k miles. That evening a freind called from Lauderdale he told me a story about his neighbor not wanting to sell his yamaha to any neighbors his son really wanted it so i told him  he could have my 07 Calvin for free as we've been friends for years and his son was looking for something to customize. The look on his face when he came to get it with his father and younger brother was worth a million bucks and he is learning about the guzzi passion and I"m glad to have another griso after wrecking my 15 8v a few years ago

Nice story!

But don't you feel guilty, passing on an addiction to a young man?

Until we get some watch pics, I give this thread a DISLIKE!  Any Jaeger LeCoultre in that haul?? I'm mostly an Omega and Grand Seiko guy myself, but there are a few JLC that command my attention. The VC and AP are out of my range!

I once bought a Chinese knockoff of an Audemars Piguet (guzzi content). Only lasted a year. So I now recommend buying a real AP, which I suspect is made better and will last a little longer.

My brother brought me back a very nice Rolex from China.  Pretty amusing on several levels- he knows I've never worn a watch.  He called it a Rolleck.

But the real point-  Good on ya' Mr. Henry! :thumb:

AP qyantieme perpetual early series and a generation 1 Vacheron overseas with blue military dial only 75 in this color produced both are 100% genuine I've been in the business for years but starting to slow down. My first steet bike was given to me by a customer of my paper route when i was 13 a old benelli 125 basket case im 60 now so the griso is easier for me to push than the calvin .
