 Justify wins the Triple Crown . Don't really know much about horse racing at this level , but the horses are incredible athletes . Not sure the jockey makes all that much difference , and the ponies don't have a clue about the money involved , they just love to run

Absolutely the jockey makes a huge difference.  Fifty-two year old Mike Smith has his own incredible story however, The fact that trainer Bob Baffert has TWO Triple Crown winners, 2015 with American Pharaoh and today with Justify. Incredible…!

Just watched the race and I'm impressed with the Gronk's run. Horrible slow start but had plenty from the halfway point. Yes, the field came back to him, but flew by all but the leader in the rail. Great job "out-braking" them in turn! Maybe a different story if not lost out of the gate.
