Is it me or does it look like a twisted Norge.

The comments are interesting on this link. The bike looks interesting....
CFMOTO makes excellent "Side X Sides", and our local dealer cannot sell enough of them!! :thumb:
They are half the price of an equivalent CanAm / Polaris / Kawasaki / Yamaha and the build quality / fit / finish / reliability is as good. We'll see if this bike is eventually offered to Europe and/or the USA (???) :thumb:

Actually, I thought the same thing!!

Don't think the Norge ever came out with a JBL speaker system. You might ba as loud as some of the Harley dudes :thumb:

I see what you all mean about the twisted Norge, especially the white one. The Chinese still don't quite have the styling down to a fine art like the Italians do. However keep an eye out down the line.

If people don't stop buying it, that's all that will be left.....

all the same things were said about the japanese bikes when they came out, but say what you want, that thing looks frighteningly like a real motorcycle.

Designing bikes would be a difficult task. Most everything has been done in some way, shape or form.

I don't know..
I think you can be lazy (or is it crafty/smart?)
copying some popular styling cues, OR you could actually DESIGN something fresh and take a chance. Seems early versions of "copied" designs always have a caricature look about them, intentional or not. Proportions "not quite there yet" like an early Yamaha Virago or Victory's V92c.
But then along comes the Victory Vision Tour, or Guzzi's own Griso.
Suzuki's Katana was fresh and different.
I'm betting it's a matter of time before that home run is hit by some Chinese maker, though it MAY come from some outsourced Design House.
YMMV :afro:

Personally, the looks of a bike is not so much a factor to me. I'm easy to please. Parts and service availability and the overall functionality of the machine is really more important to me. Hell, I still ride an '06 Tiger, I'm sure many think it's the most butt ugly ever made. But I had a dealer I trusted, and it's a bike with a 200 mile range that I can actually stay on for that many miles.

'06 Tiger with the claw mark's on the tank?!?
I love that thing! :thumb:

India hit a home run with the RE 650's IMO. Only a matter of time before the Chinese manage it too. But I'd want to get one after its had a few years to prove itself.
