My old V11 LeMans...
« on: May 07, 2021, 07:09:04 AM »
Purchased new by me in Chandler, AZ in 2002...Sold to a friend when I moved to Germany in 2004...Then, sold to another friend who rode it for a few years...and then it sat neglected for a few more years.

My buddy Mike recently rescued it and brought it back to life.  Nice ride with only 23K original miles.  He rode up to old town Cottonwood yesterday to show me, and then we had dinner to talk about old times. :thumb:

Glad to see it on the road and "In-The-Wind" again!! :thumb:  :boozing:

Frankly, I like my Centauro much better than my old '83 850 Le Mans-III, but yes, a modern V11 Le Mans is a sweet ride!

Hey JJ,

The bike ran flawlessly up and back.  This morning as I was packing to leave a guy wandered by and asked about it.  He thought it was new!  When I told him it was nearly 20 years old he couldn't believe it.  Great bike, great ride, good food and good friends.  Almost perfect!

From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉

I found these photos from Feb. 2004, when I owned it, and just before I moved to Aachen, Germany for two years.

Can you spot the subtle differences between then and now? :thumb:  :boozing:

Thanks, but technically, I believe you need AT LEAST THREE (3) Guzzi's for an "official" Mini-Rally!!
