How thin do you let those brake pads get before ya change them ?(Guzzi Content here)These appear to be wearing very evenly.
I'm guessing that question was a little tongue in cheek..
My philosophy is to replace them when half worn. The thinner you take them, the more the pistons have to stick out of the calipers. This exposes them to road salt, etc. I'd rather pop in a new set of pads than rebuild a caliper.
^^^^On an emergency stop from road speed you’ll want half worn or better. Unless you don’t practice those..
Who uses brakes? Just "lay 'er down"!
