Make sure the tank breathers aren't pinched. Check your airbox isn't full of oil. Perform the 'Self Learning' functions for the demand sensor.Pete
Unless the cables are binding mechanically, it'll be the "demand sensor" basically the TPS for a RBW bike. Could need a reset / calibration... Search for other posts by me here for details, what you describe happened to me but in a far more spectacular fashion...
This has happened to me twice this year but only recently. I have been in horrible stop and go traffic this summer and it didn't do this. In the last 1-2 months it's happened at least twice after following this situation here and on other sites. Does anyone know what's involved in a reset and how to do it? Has anyone else found an exact fix for this? Why would this start all of a sudden so to speak?
If you want to reset the trims? Just disconnect the battery for a minute or two. If you want to do the self learning process for the demand sensor you'll need Guzzidiag or one of the proprietory tools like PADS.Pete
