Title: At initial point, beginning run
Post by: HardAspie on February 25, 2016, 04:45:08 PM
Well this is it; money day. I have in my coffers the funds to purchase the Wolf. I know it is not a Goose, but it is at least a bike and an animal! I am still uncertain that I will as I have never seen one in the flesh. (That is because buying a motor vehicle is far less easily done when one does not already own a motor vehicle.) I retain the right to say no, and continue my quest if anything vibes me wrongly. A friend of mine; another biker sort of Aspie who is eyeing a Triumph Rocket III, should be here in a week or two and we plan a run to Prescott to the Guzzi shop where SYM is sold. Target in sight.

Wait, I can't buy a motorcycle at Target!

I really hope you buy the Wolf, in part because I am eager to hear your reports about it.

As I said, I was blown away by the similar model sold in Taiwan. Deep lust.

Good luck whatever you decide, and enjoy the anticipation!

Hell, I thought this was another "Flying Fortress" thread.

Comes a sheep in wolf's clothing.

Have tons of fun and let us know how you like it.

Todd.

We sold a few at the shops I worked at, set them up & road them. Nice bike, bout like a Honda CB 125. Nice little cafe bike.

What a lovely motorcycle!  How about a break-in ride from Prescott to Jerome?  Best wishes for a great riding experience with your SYM Wolf.

This Wolf has come up in a couple-three threads.

Which wolf is it? They're all kinda cool but that "Classic" is really sweet.

Looks like I have a few answers to give:

1. In general: thanks to all for the good wishes

2. Cruzziguzzi:
Thanks for info
Is the Classic 150. . .
.. . which is a direct lineal descendant of the CB 125
Yup, sheep in wolf's clothing

3. ohiorider:
Yes, indeed Prescott to Jerome is en route my digs in Cornville. It should be a great ride, even at the 40MPH break in speed!

Very nice!

I see an opportunity to valance the bejeepers outa it, clipon's, rear sets and a funky seat - then off to a Motogiro with you!

Cruzziguzzi:
That's it!
It is kinda like the gosling there, and is that little red Italian bike not a feast for the eyes?

K250: Thanks! I hope that I like IRL!

I can't imagine you not liking it. Might get a little wheezy were you to take it spiritedly up to Flag but but I bet it'd be fun up 89A and then those rockin' Forest Service roads up there.

I have near monthly fantasies about turning my XR200RR into a road bike just for the hey of a toss around fun bike.

These critters aren't very huggable. If you sit still they might sneak up and sniff the back of your neck. You can hug a lemans or a tiger or me take your pick!

One of the smartest dogs I knew was a tiny coyote/mutt cross - that dog was so clever you could argue politics with him.

That was like my coydog. Smart enough that I rarely tell tales of her, people think I am lying.
