Title: Sweet looking SP on MGNOC Classifieds,
Post by: bigbikerrick on December 17, 2014, 04:28:25 PM
Hello Folks, I have been admiring this nice SP, on the MGNOC classifieds, for the last couple of days. does it belong to any of the Guzzista here? Im surprised it hasnt sold yet, To me, that seems to be the perfect bike . I have always been a fan of the SP fairing, and the
way it makes the tonti bikes look. A question for the knowledgable...sinc e this bike has the "hot rod" motor, would it be essentially about the same as a LeMans of that vintage? I showed it to "the Boss" last night, and her response was " Im glad its far away...you have that glimmer in your eyes, you get, like a little kid at Christmas"

Im not sure if that was a maybe, or a no.. :wife:....but one thing I do know is ,I sure would like to own that SP!   :drool

Rick.

I was trying to talk a buddy of mine into buying that last week. Looks like a cool rig to me.

That bike was at the Virginia state rally, and it's as nicely done as it looks.   Owned by a careful Guzzista and at a good price.

Even after selling two bikes this past weekend, I'm still bike-poor, otherwise I'd have it ....

Nice looking bike. I notice it has Tarozzi rearsets. If you're someone that likes to stretch your legs, you may find those uncomfortable. I liked the position on my LMIV, but it was something I noticed on long day rides. Easy switch back to stock if the seller has the old parts.

One other note on those. They basically snap off with any stress (tipover) so it's nice to have a spare arm. You can purchase the individual pieces separately.

Are the stock front pegs and arms available anybody knows of?  Nice bike but the stock peg position would suit me better also.

If it wasn't 3000 or so miles from me, I'd be giving it some very serious consideration. Nice looking bike at a reasonable price.

Pete McNulty owns it, and it's not nearly far enough away from me.

Must... keep... hand... away... from... wallet...  ;D

Cheers,

I also saw the motorcycle at the VA Rally.  Well done and I considered it.  I was very surprised to see it didn't sell.

Hi Rick and thanks to all who posted the nice comments. For reasons not entirely clear to me, it is still available.  I just put a new sealed battery in it today and will try to get a running video tomorrow.  Feel free to get in touch.  Pete McNulty, petermcnulty@promail.com.

As have I.  Thank goodness it finally sold; I was already starting to practice my explanation speech for my wife.   :wife:

Pete, did it stay in the US, or is it coming to Canada?

Cheers,
Shaun
