horn and light upgrade recommendations

So, the single "meep" from the horn on my 1200S is pretty pathetic. Any thoughts on a decent substitute? I assume I'll have to find someplace to jam a relay to power a larger horn.

I was also thinking of adding some marker lights if just for the sake of visibility. The Denali micros seem nice, but also seem a bit pricey (Guzzi content). I'm just looking for bright, unobtrusive markers- Not something goofy like the mondo units the ADV guys go for.

I used this on my Norge. Quite loud, people turn and look which is exactly what I was after.
I have not used those lights but am considering them along with a truck lite led headlamp on the Eldorado.

Pay $14,000 for a Guzzi and a mouse peeing on cotton makes more noise than the Guzzi horn.

Check out ADVMonster LED headlights.

You'll want the "Mesh Monster"  H7 & H9.

The regular ones do NOT fit.   I know, I tried 'em in my '06 Breva 1100.

Or, just add a bright pair of LED driving lights.

 :thumb:installed a pair of Stebel horns on my Norge.  Mounted up under the front fairing.  Wired up to relay and fuse to battery. Very loud , let's cars know you are there.   From EBay.  With loom and relay kit .

I put a Stebel on my 12S but had to split the compressor from the trumpet to fit each half under both tank wings.  Slight delay (half a second) while the compressor gets pressure to the other side of the tank.  Not a perfect installation but mega loud.

On the Stelvio, I've gone with Fiamm highway blasters from Advance Auto.  Not as deafening as the Stebel but the low and high tone each fit under the tank side fairing pieces.  Always use a relay for any aftermarket horn, makes a huge current difference which yields more noise.

I also added Stebel Magnums to both our cars.  I love to use my horn, kind of an aural middle finger!

For marker lights, I went with Skene Design, amber front running and read rear running / brake (two sets out back).  Super bright, interesting patented flicker, US made and great customer service.  For throwing tons of light down the road, $30 six-LED spot lights from Amazon.

With all these additions, consider a fuse block.  I've used both Blue Seas 5025 and Eastern Beaver PC-6 with good results.

On the Sport I would think you could do the relay the same way I did. I pulled the wires from the stock horn up under the front of the tank and they trigger the relay. One fused wire from the battery for the horn power and then the wire to the horn itself were all I had to add. In your case you could use the same wire to power your additional lights through another relay or switch.
Whatever you do it's always fun to tweak the Guzzi to your liking!

A pair of Fiaam freeway blasters for about $30. Get the High and Low tone, It's essential to use a good heavy supply and a relay, don't rely on the Guzzi wiring or all you get is a pathetic squeak.

I put a set of these on my bike, and the comments are always, "wow, those are really bright. I like them!"   27 bucks for the pair beats the hell out of paying big dollars for basically the same thing. (guzzi content)

These fork mounts are the cat's ass for mounting lights, and with the above mentioned lights, you are set up for under 60 bucks.
