Well between traveling last July and then the loss of vision in August followed by eye surgeries and winter, I finally took to the two wheels again. So I woke up the V1100 Stone and had a shit load of fun just putting in fresh fuel and riding about 60 miles on back country roads. Even treated it to premium (ouch). Next ride will have to be on the Beast though in all fairness.
As much as I love the sound of the Bubs on the Centauro, there is just something visceral about grabbing a handful of throttle and having that big block make music through the open air-box K&N and the Mistrals on the other end. Something about that intake roar under the tank and the sound of the pipes that just moves the soul. Like my faded t-shirt says, Its not noise its Music, Mandello opera.
