Interesting. I communicated with Charlie Falco a number times both about motorcycles and in his professional role back in the Brit Iron days. A good friend had his 1969 BSA Rocket Three at the Guggenheim though not sure it made it to the subsequent shows. That wasn’t the deal originally until it was apparent it was such a hit in New York.

Also rode AHRMA with this guy. And an honor it was! https://www.ahrma.org/2023-elections/beno-rodi-eastern-region/

There was this one old guy name Dick Mann that would come out and ride with us also.

I rode my XS11 from the Cape to NYC and parked outside in the bikes only spaces out front.  I was the only motorcycle there that day. I walked up and down the ramp ogling the bikes, bought a book and rode home.  I really wish I had bought a few posters. I felt it was a little heavy on newer BMWs, but they were footing much of the bill I think. Still a great show.

We lived in Sandy Hook, at the time. A beautiful colonial village,
I rode into NYC 3 days in a row. A wonderful event. So glad I have 'the book'. I had no friends that rode MC. I found owning a few bmw's was a burden. Talking a fellow living in International Falls, MN into selling his Daytona to me took 7 years. I had no idea of the terrific changes I witnessed. Every MG friend I have is a treasure.   R3~

Took the train into NYC to see the show at the Guggenheim. The red Norton Fastback was restored by and is still owned by my friend Pete Swider.
Have the book, too. What a show!

I was in Vegas for a sales meeting when tthe display was there. I spent hours there. The book was only $27 so I had to have it. The engineering and exquisite machining were facinating.
