Not political in my opinion.  Merely you endorsing a charity you find worthy.  No problem I can see.  ;-T

many years ago our church collected for them at Halloween time, until a board member read the financial statement that basically said 85% went for their expense (payroll) and 15% went to the charity itself. I don't know if it's still true but I sure would check it out before I donated.

Looks like about 91% of UNICEF's collections go towards the care of the recipients they are collecting for? If so, that's pretty high.
