So now I receive an email from my Ins.agent . As of right now the mass rmv is not processing any non essential services during the state of emergency So if a customer has a trailer/camper/motorcycle,they will not be able get these transactions during the crisis.

they provide a link so we can go on line to pay sales tax on these new non essential vehicles now so we are not hit with penalties and interest .so we can show tax paid.  GEE thanks
 we are allowed to buy a new Bike /camper ect. we can't use it for who knows when    we  pay tax now! they are able to process now

I prefer the Mass RMV method now. I always hated going there, and have had no issues with the on line setup.

 So the problem is that the RMV is allowing for registration of new recreational vehicles so you won't be penalized for late payment , but you can't use the shiny new recreational vehicle at the moment ? How is this the RMV's fault ?

You can register a motorcycle in Massachusetts by appointment if you state that it is your primary source of transportation.

 OK , although I am guessing that is a temporary problem . Not exactly sure what is happening , almost sounds like the RMV is attempting to prevent a backlog .

 No idea about how MA is handling this , but most of our state and local agencies here are running with skeleton crews . We are all being asked to make some sacrifices at the moment , just how it is .
