Connecting new fuel lines on a 1200 sport
« on: March 07, 2021, 09:36:20 AM »
A year ago I buggered up my gray quick disconnect fuel line under the fuel tanks. Something snapped inside and it won’t come off. I thought what I would do was get a Dremel tool and “carefully” take off buggered gray collar from the red elbow. I thought I would order a new connector gray connector which may come with fuel lines. Can I replace just the gray connector or do I need to replace the entire fuel line with the connector?

I believe the new line comes w/connector. Other alternative is get the metal connector, cut & peel lines off and replace all w/rubber gas line & clamps.
There are threads that cover all of this if you search.
