There was the term...."STREET SCRAMBLER" - - remember? :wink: :thumb: :boozing: :cool: :smiley:

I like this little Yamaha...and later, they made made a nice, green 250cc, in this same style... :thumb: :thumb:

My cousin had a red one after he traded his 80.  He always out did my stuff like my Honda CL90.

The irony is the new run of huge adventure bikes are as proficient off road as the early street scramblers. The 60’s - 70’s crop of street scramblers may not have been real mud pluggers but at least I could probably pull a small Japanese single or twin out of the mud after I buried it.

I totally agree. I think the newer big singles are the real heirs to the Scrambler legacy.

that's a great looking bike.  i would have given almost anything for one of those back in the day.  my mum was not a fan of 2 wheel transport.
