Maybe the light is to make you feel flushed.

Is that like a halo lite for a bike?  Sitting on a cloud.

One of mine and my wife's favorite - or in fact only - aspect of these types of ads are the demonstrated scenarios of idiocy which are supposed to support the necessity of the product.

You know, when they want my to buy their, let's say, chopping tool and they show the hapless house-wife struggling with a tippy cutting board, slippery vegies and a knife which seems made of cheese...

Then they will show her magically dicing away with their tool while making lunches for the kids, talking on the phone and balancing her checkbook at the same time... The wonder!

Anyhow, my wife and I see the bowl lite ad and wonder why they don't show a house of young boys stumbling into the bathroom and spraying everything in there in the dark - the heat register (really, who came up with putting those next to terlets!?!), the floor, shower curtains... whatever. They should have a 13 year old boy in the ad operating in the dark like he's barely in control of a urine propelled hose.

Exactly, they're gonna fly outa your hand, rip nails to the extent of an ER visit or cause birth defect... but our product will make life easier, safer and make you a more beautiful person and significantly more attractive to the opposite sex as well.

Maybe the light is for clumsy folks who are always dropping things in the bowl.

I've never seen the ad, so after a quick internet search I got the skinny on the bowl light.

Sheer genius!  Why, this could lead to people putting colored LEDs on their bikes.

I don't think so.  Pooping whilr riding is not considered cool.
 Trust me I know.

I once stood up on the pegs to fart and had a surprise.
I just hate it when it does that.  I had to stay standing on the pegs all the way home.
