4th Gear Squeals...

...like a stuck pig!

Well, not all the time. Just occasionally when under light throttle, say when loafing around a bend in the road.

Bad gear? Bad clutch (and I'm just not yet hearing the squealing in all six gears)? Turn up the radio and ignore it?

2014 Norge with about 5,200 miles on the clock. Fluids full.

50cc wouldn't hurt, make sure vent hose is open & not kinked.

The Nuovo six speeds are generally very reliable. Somethings obviously not right. I wouldn't leave it.

Thanks, guys.

I will try adding some gear oil. If that doesn't work, the bike is under warranty and is going to Moto International in 1,000 miles for its second service, a full "cannister-ectomy," and whatever warranty work needs to be done.
