Not quite true.  Moto Guzzi's can be "rented" for the trip.  In fact, a certain number of people have to sign up to ride the tour company's Guzzi's before they will open registration for BYO Guzzi's.

So, you spend $2500 on the trip (with rental) and then, if you buy a new Moto Guzzi, they take $2500 off!!  Wow.  So anyone that is planning to buy a new bike anyway can get a free trip and rental. 

This is kind of tempting ....

If I were ready to buy the new Anniversary V85TT, I would definitely sign up for one of these trips.  I have ridden all the areas that are being offered, but it would be a nice way to truly experience the bike in its element.
