The Absolute Best Way to Cook a Hot Dog, According to So Many Tests

Stopped by this place a few weeks ago.

Last time in NYC.  I did a hotdog day ride.  Found a Sabretti street cart for breakfast then rode over to Coney Island (long way) for lunch at Nathan's for dogs and fries.  Brooklyn Bridge back over Lower to Manhattan.  Long way around coming in from the Westside Highway, Katz's for an afternoon snack. 

Had them all the same way.  Yellow mustard only to compare flavor and taste.  They were all good!     Not my preferred way to eat a hotdog however.  No matter what additives.  I need the heat added usually slathered with Tobasco since it's readily available all over. 

Was that two hot dogs and a knish or three hot dogs? Never had a hot dog at Katz’s, either pastrami or a corned beef sandwich.

I am a fan of "Mexican Hot Dogs" wrapped in bacon, seared on a flat grill, condiments are pinto beans, chopped jalapeno relish, chopped onions,mayo, and mustard. Served on a slightly sweet mexican bread shaped like a canoe. Yumm! 
  Tucson Arizona is the Mexican hot dog capital of the USA!
