I wonder if he moved the fuel pump or insulated it.

It's in Reno.  Too bad my son came home to finish school by remote access.

Here we go..
“I smell a rat...”
“Sounds like a scam...”
“Overpriced by $600..”
“If it wasn’t 185 miles away, I’d be tempted...”
“I’d go and get it, but my trailer’s tyres are dirty..”

Greenie doesn’t do the color justice,  those who “get it” know it by it’s true color, Electric Urin!   Indeed the coolest rad  color to ever grace a proper m/c.

It's got a nice exhaust system as well.  I did my time on one, for about 7(?) years, so I'll leave this for someone else.  These early models got some grief for head-shake, but mine was rock solid at all speeds.

The shade of green looks much nicer, IMO, than Aprilia’s “acid gold” that folks are comparing with it. The green color and shape of the tank are the designer’s—Luciano Marabese’s—nod to the V7 Sport and the V8 500. These are great ballsy roadsters, and while this example has been left to sit neglected someone did sort it out in the past.

This model (early red frame) is my daily rider, and I removed the steering damper a while ago as it was leaking oil. I was concerned about a shakey front end, but as you say it’s pretty solid. It turns in well for what it is, and it picks up on road variation, but it’s stabile even without a damper. I’ve not ridden a later black frame model, but the red frames are solid and fun to ride.

The last of the *real* Guzzis.. :thumb:
About the only real issue with the early short frames is a cracked transmission mount. There is an aftermarket brace..
The 02s and later cured that "possible" problem. They can dance very well indeed for a fat girl.  The Mighty Scura is my favorite all time bike.

Buy it and have a look..

Had a silver one & Rosso Mandello.  Sold those and still have a black w/red frame & a V11 Le Mans Nero Corsa.  I don't another one and it's in Reno anyway.  My youngest was going to school there but came home early.  Senior year.  He graduates this weekend.   :boozing:
