That's Awesome Chuck! How do you attach the plywood to the wings?
I'll volunteer to be the test pilot

Waterproof glue and/or epoxy. Because, by definition it is not an aircraft, you don't need to be a pilot to fly it.
I wouldn't recommend that..

Beautiful workmanship Chuck, your skill set is second to none!

Thanks.. comma but. I've seen some really nice workmanship coming out of several people on this list.

This is a good video about wood props. I like the way she describes the gear ratio as it applies to props for homebuilts https://youtu.be/cribie7fuYA. Chucks excellent project will use a similar prop unless he uses a composite prop

Second winter shop upgrade job;

a strong through wall exhaust fan with a filter.

The 16" diameter blade type fan was in the shop before I took over the space (exterior gravity louvers), I welded up a rectangular frame from light gauge steel angle and clad it with 22 gauge galvanized sheet, added a 14" x 25" filter to the horizontal inlet.

I replaced the ancient belt type electric motor, found an identical modern replacement for under $120, this thing pulls air!

Should go a long ways to keeping the shop cleaner and make for healthier air quality.

I am going to set up a welding and grinding table under the hood and hang a welding curtain to enclose the two open sides when I weld.

Beauty ,I’m envious. My shop building is not set up for a nice exhaust fan.

I finished up my new welding station, built a simple table to fit the small corner I have for welding and grinding, 1-1/2" light HSS tube frame and a 3/16" steel top.

Room to tuck my MIG/Stick/Tig and gas welding kit below, a small shelf holds two plastic tubs to hold TIG and Stick gear, welding rod storage tubes hung off the side, a small vice and I mounted the grinder / belt sander in a corner. It's a tight space on a 24" x 40" table but I don't do big jobs so it suits my needs and with the big exhaust fan above its comfortable to weld here, the LED light above is nice and bright. I may drill and tap the table top on a grid pattern to take quick clamps.

Last job will be to hang a curtain rod above to enlcose the space with a welding curtain and keep grinding slag away from the rest of the shop

I've never seen that face shield. What is it?

It’s a Miller knock off that my local welding shop recommended but it’s a piece of crap.

The flip fasteners keep falling out and have stripped. I should have bought the real deal, $150 Chinese junk. I never seem to learn the true cost of cheap!!

I spent the big bucks (Not Guzzi content)  on a Viking 3350. (!) I've gotta say it makes low amperage puddles easier to see.
