I will be out today on the Griso. A balmy 7C  and dry in Blighty, it may only be a 20 mile jaunt to the pub and back but not bad for January in theses parts.

Ahh , a jaunt to the Drunken Duck perhaps ?

 Love British pub names .

Not yesterday, but have been riding all winter. The day before was a 20 mile ride to Newberg on 219 - one of the best MC roads around here. 45F, not raining but damp pavement so not max fun, but still satisfying. The day before, it was 40F about the same conditions and rode the same way, but more like 50 miles to Salem. Riding in the winter makes me appreciate summer so much more!

Low 40’s here and I was out. Excessively salted roads meant I needed to break out the scrunchy hose afterward, though, but that’s OK.

Got out with my crazy psychiatrist friend. 38 degrees , sun broke through and then a snow squall. Interesting ride at a slower than usual pace. Lot's of salt and sand around . Every time outs a bonus around here in January.  Did get to pick up some of New England's best coffee.  I was surprised at this temp after 30 miles my oil temp never got past 110 degrees even with my oil cooler intake blocked. 09 Griso.

Well...good on ya fellas!  Lots of riding adventures!  Let's hope the good weather lasts for a while yet!

I finished up a small repair needed on the Scura this afternoon after morning family fun - then took it for a 30 mile jaunt - that bike never fails to give me a smile, came back and promptly took the Griso out for a 40 mile ride "around the block" just to make sure it didn't feel neglected.  :)

Felt good to get the 3 bikes out this weekend, all of them running smoothly and in their element...even got the garage tidied up now after riding.

Not me:

Quote
Both directions of I-80 closed from Colfax to Nevada

Quote
More than 100,000 customers are without power Sunday evening due to wind and rain, officials said.

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District said more than 150 different outages across the city are affecting tens of thousands of customers. The Elk Grove, Downtown, Cal Expo and Florin areas are some of the most impacted.

Quote
Multiple vehicles remained stuck in the mud Sunday on Pacific Coast Highway near Malibu, where rain caused debris flows Saturday night and closed a section of the road.

Caltrans officials said PCH would remain closed in both directions from Las Posas Road in Ventura County to Encinal Canyon Road in Malibu until at least Monday.

I really Need to get a V85tt so that I can go in "inclement" weather.  My lemans is a bit of a handful even on fire roads.

Yup.  Got in about 90 miles yesterday on the little CB.  Made it out to the trusty ol’ Leavenworth, Indiana overlook.

I put the bike away in October, which is pretty typical around here, though in some years you get a few days to ride in November, rarely December.  The Nevada doesn't ordinarily see the sun again until March.  As I look out my window now, freezing rain is coming down at the moment, so it'll probably be March before I get out again.
