jacking Loop

Do I have any worries jacking my 1974 Eldo from under the engine? I was gonna borrow my neighbors bike jack, just wanted to ensure I wasn't gonna hurt anything. Thanks, Jef

Hurt anything? New it came w/skid plates under the pan, should be OK. Make sure your not on exhaust or starter. Behind trans on crossmember is rear brake switch, fragile.

The oil sump is very stout.  I routinely lift using a flat 6" X 12" plate.  Just don't lift on a single point like a bottle jack.

Loved those skid plate, took them to mean that I could run over anything. I may have been mistaken, but the bike never complained.

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.
