I'd vote for the Julian area. not sure what the conditions are on Palomar Mountain but that's always a great road too.   :pop

Hey, why don't we piggyback on that one? (somebody tell me if I just invited a bunch of bums to a formal dinner, or something like that)

Of course, since the launch point is a whole three miles or so from me I might be prejudiced.

It's clear, sunny, clean around here. There might be some sand on the mountain curves since it rained a few days back.

Easterners, do you want us to burn a weather vane or something for you?
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Bill posted the ride to the Guzzi riders in the Moto Euro Breakfast Club weekly e mail. If you don't attend the Saturday morning breakfasts or get the e mails then you wouldn't have known. If you want to get the e mails or go the the breakfast events, which are always fun and interesting, give me your e mail address and I will send you the information.

[groundhog105] I have PM'd you my email to add to the list - thank you.

It appears as though we might be able to pass for being on the guest list, despite it being a rather highbrow bunch  ;D

So I look forward to seeing the lot of you too early on Sunday morning, Via Rancho Parkway exit, west side of the 15, at the strip mall anchored by a convenience store / gas station / taco shop / Starbucks et al.

Well I am only here for a couple of more months for this trip...  When I come back it will be for a week or so a month and the work schedule will be very busy and no time to ride so no sense in getting on the list.   :'(

I'll just reply on catching the word when I can for the time I am here...

Thanks,
Rob

Are you going to crash this wedding...?   Lemme know if you want company.   ;D

As usual my sense of humor fails to translate reliably.  ;)

Hell yes I'll be there, expecting to see you as well, Rob.

And all of you referenced above, PLEASE meet me there if you can. I'll be the sleepy grinning guy with the white Bassa and the Gasolina boots.

Oh, and there's a Chevron a couple hundred yards down the road on the east side of the 15 if you favor their fuel as I do.

Oh I caught the humor.. How about we meet at your place and ride in together with lassos out and spinning...

Gimme a scream later and I can get the Zone addy...  just in case I will Google the Starbucks on 15...

Ciao,
Rob

My 4 year old has something going on. Stomach bug. Exorcist puking going on. Hopefully it's a quick one and it passes. I always miss these rides. Always.

If I do miss it, I'll do a replay ride 0530 on Monday. Meet up at my front door and you can ride in with me on my commute to work.

What work can possibly be done at 430 in the AM? What are you, working for the east coasters?

We coordinate work for several OEMs and subcontractors and I get lots of prelim work done early as the day just takes off and I can never catch up hence the early start.

Funny you mention the East Coast as I do reach back often.
