Ghezzi Brian special edition
« on: December 12, 2021, 08:51:23 PM »
Saw this at my local dealer yesterday.  Very beautiful bike, if a bit pricey.

When they were new, the word at my local dealer was that the standard V11 Sport was a better bike, no cheap Paoli forks, no cheesy gas cap under a gas cap, brakes that worked, better gearbox and so on.

I think G&B came into their own with the later MGS-01 that they designed for Guzzi.

But I’m sure somebody will buy it…

A few years some one in New Zealand had one, but I don't think they managed to sell it.

They were asking a lot, but I don't think it was anywhere near Pro-Italia's price.

I never liked them, less so now.

Paoli is similar to Marzocchi, mostly a low end supplier, off road forks are apparently OK but they were not generally loved on large on-road motorcycles of this era.  Their forks did not work particularly well on either Bimotas or G&B specials.
