V9 50 state emission compliant?

Hi guys, looking to buy a pre owned V9 soon (will be my 5th Guzzi of my life). I live in California and I can't understand if all the V9's are 50 state emission compliant.
I Tried to contact the Guzzi customer service, no answer by phone, neither by email.
Can someone check on his 2016 or 2017 V9 if the sticker says 49 or 50 state compliant?

If a Calif. Guzzi dealer has them, they're 50 state compliant, and I believe they are.

All Guzzi have been 50 state compliant since at least 1998.

All Guzzis in The USA since model year 1998 have been 50-State compliant.

Now, if you're looking at used in another State and want to bring it back to California, you need to be sure the compliance stickers and the carbon canister are still in place.  Those are not required in most other locales, and many owners remove them.

There was a `problem`  with the 50 state V9`s with CARB  ( California Air Resource Board ) .  It was finally solved , but kept the V9 out of Cali Dealerships for quite a while longer than the other 49 states.

Piaggio USA has been slow to deal with CARB testing and certification, and hasn't allowed enough time to get things done. The same thing happened with the introduction of the California 1400 back in 2013-2014. We had them in Nevada (with 50-state sticker sets, no less) before the dealers in Los Angeles did. Piaggio had the test results, knew the bikes were legal - but didn't have the letter from CARB that would let them put crates on a truck westbound.

There used to be a belief if you bought a used MC out of state and went to title it in Kalif., where it had to have X so many miles on it before Kalif. would accept it.  Far as I know this situation only  mattered for non-motorcyles.  It was a way for the state to stop Ca. car buyers from buying new cars across the border and drive them to Calif.

Far as I know Calif. doesn't have any MC smog laws, at least not any semi annual MC smog tests like cars, trucks have to go thru.

WS just at the San Diego MG dealer yesterday looking at a V9 bobber.  They have at least one of everything.

No testing required so far like cars do. I do believe that if a motorcycle comes stock with emissions equipment installed, you are not supposed to remove it. With that said, it's highly unlikely that anyone would find out that you removed it.

That it better have a sticker saying it's CA or 50-state compliant. Simple as that...
