I hope bike choice isn't based on which manufacturer pays them the most money.  The riders should pick and pay for their own bike to be as real as the rest of us.

Last I heard was that Charlie Boorman was a spokesman for Triumph.

Yes Borman has been working with Triumph, he seems a fan of the brand, can’t blame him for that. And we know Ewan is a real Guzzista. It would be big fun and a smart move by Piaggo to at least have one bike be the TT.

A V85 TT and a Triumph Tiger 800 X-whatever would be good.
Griso 1100
Rosso Corsa Lemans
1/2 a V50 III (with my son)
V65 SP - Finished but the Dyna died so it's non-op'd

Absolutely! They need to ride the bikes they represent. If they choose not to ride a Triumph and a Guzzi they are basically slamming the brands they are spokesman for. Pretty sure Ewan doesn't need the money from a high bidder situation.

Mixed feelings on this. Maybe I'll watch it.

I just wish films like 'Mondo Enduro', 'Terra Circa' and 'One Crazy Ride' got the same attention.

I know McGregor is the Guzzista but he just seems like it's all for the show. I think Borman is the real thing, just totally enjoying getting paid to do what he loves.

You heard it here first.

I don't know, man.  I've got an old issue of "BIKE" magazine from 20+ years ago featuring an interview with Ewan, with pictures of him riding his modified 850 LeMans.  He's a real-deal Guzzista, and I'm glad we've got him.

Vespa.

You heard it here first.

Not as insane as it sounds.  Met a pair of masochistic Vespa riding Italian madmen near Copenhagen (Roskilde festival) in '84, hell-bent on a Summer return road-trip Napoli-Nordkapp-Napoli.  That's quite some mileage.  Mind you, haven't heard from them since!

I’m really looking forward to watching their new adventure. Good riders having fun and doing some philanthropy along the way. Pretty cool in my book.

Ewan bought his first Guzzi over 20 years ago, owns 10, and works on his own bikes.

The bloke I’m seeing tomorrow in South London sold him his new Guzzies.
Ewan was a regular visitor to Corsa Italiana and was happy to fetch and carry for all and sundry apparently. Seems he’s ok for a star...
