The time has come so I am hoping to pass on my last two guzzi to their next caretaker here. I am having some problems posting pics. Anyone help?
The two bikes come with a literal ton of new and used spares including rare body panels, wheels ,suspension, etc. I will NOT be parting anything. The cx100 runs and rides like a champ and I've posted lots of pics on this site before. the v7sport is my last project and was destined to be my forever bike...the best original v7sport I ever found...and still an unfinished project. $20000 for everything.

If you want to send the photos to me in an email (may take several emails?), I'll post them for you. <c.d.mullendore@att.net>

Hi, Harry.

I know that this is a not a decision taken lightly.  Hope you hang around and stay in touch.  I also hope you're getting lots of time to paint.

All the best,

Thanks Shaun
It is a decision that we all will make.
Yes. The silver lining for me is more time and focus on my painting tho' I will sorely miss building guzzi.
Good to hear that you have survived fire, flood, and pestilence in "lala land".

Thanks Charlie for posting these pics!
The two bikes are in heated storage and I will take more pics for anyone looking for specific shots.
The paint on both is original and in great condition as you can see. The cx100 comes with all original bodywork, exhaust, wheels, headlight, wire harness, (the harness on the bike is a Greg Bender custom with relays), etc with doubles, even triples of most spares including bodywork. Original seat is pristine.
The v7sport really is the best original I have ever found. I started the restore with a custom Greg Bender harness but as I was dismantling the bike, I realized that its condition was outstanding original and decided to keep it that way. Health issues have changed my best plans. This bike too comes with quite a large collection of spares, some very rare.

In going through my parts stash for the V7Sport, I found that the mounts for the original Aprilia turn signals have gone missing. Does anyone have a set to sell?

Nice bikes, Harry. I can relate to health problems changing plans so I empathize. It hit me faster than I expected but I’m determined to keep going no matter what. I’m thinking I’m going to be selling off as well so I’ve been sorting stuff for that in mind. I wanted to wish you the best of luck and say there seems to be a bunch of us that this is catching up to.

In the interest of full disclosure, I struck a deal with Harry for these bikes and parts stash. Thank you Harry.  I can’t wait to get them into the US and start enjoying them.

I really need to clear garage space and build back my cash outlay.  I have the v50, SP, R100T and R100S in various stages of cleaning and listing.  The four together will never garner what I just spent, but I had to do it.

Ben, Good luck with the bikes.

If you don’t sell the other bikes you may need a bigger garage…….

Yeah but...    now you can actually focus on the task at hand, stop wondering what needs to be done, no chasing parts for a resto or two for ?years once you finally find the right one and more.  Known bikes in known condition done deal is hard to beat.  Getting two fantastic models is even better.  It makes more sense to me than building numerous bikes that just showed up along the way.  I understand the challenges of the unanticipated outlay of funds (very much there myself right now with recent equipment purchases and a pending shop to build) but knowing that many things are now resolved is good progress.  the time spent recuperating will be no worse than time normally spent chasing the goal in other ways.

I also would like to think it's a transaction that will make Harry more comfortable as well.  Sounds like a win-win.

These last two bikes were never supposed to leave but i was wrong...we are only caretakers of the things that have value to us. As Cliffrod points out, it is a win win when the next caregiver steps up. I will miss building and riding bikes, and these in particular, but l am warmed by knowing that Ben will be as enthused in his "duties" to them as I was. That is some version of "legacy"
Thanks Ben

I’m not far behind you Harry. If all goes well the bikes are on a 15 year lease with hopes of another generation of gearheads coming up.

Well done Harry, It's got tp be hard to pass those two great bikes along to a new caretaker but I think you found the best new guardian in Ben.
