I have IQbuds from Nuheara for about 3months... Simply love them!!!
Music on/off
World on/off (off being the equivalent to standard earplugs / on, although plugs are installed you can still ear around + have personnal setting)

Back when I was a working audiologist, it was right is red, blue is left.......

The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

I use silicone ear plugs from CVS. They are large so I actually split them. They fill the ear canal which deals with the wind (I still ride half-helmet from my Harley days). But my 74 Eldo seems to have some other frequency that's getting through...maybe the LaFranconis.

My ears don't work with the foam type. I tend to use the 'mushroom' type like these when needing a set in a pinch:

https://www.amazon.com/Push-Ins-Mushroom-Shaped-Corded-Earplugs/dp/B00INYFCOO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1532434411&sr=8-2&keywords=3m+ear+plugs+mushroom

Otherwise I always use my custom fit plugs, made at an audiologist, that fit perfect. They will last a long time and block a full range of frequencies if using in-helmet speakers. You can go full-on blocking if not:
https://www.westone.com/store/music/index.php/hearing-protection/es49-custom-3222

I bought the 15db filters, but use the filter plugs for full-on blocking. They are so good that I would replace them every year if I had to, but they are going on 10 years now with no sign of problems. I clean them every so often and that's it. DON'T get them in clear. Get them in a color you can see if you drop them.

These, and a bike lift, are the best items I ever bought for a motorcycle.

I use these much of the time. They’re a little tricky to seat properly, but are effective for lower speed riding. I don’t believe they provide ideal attenuation for long hauls on the interstate, though. For that I use foamies.
