V7 II tank on a V7 III
« on: July 06, 2019, 02:42:59 PM »
I think this is a 2016 V7 II fuel tank.

- mocked up on a 2018 Milano with a factory Milano in the background.

Looks like everything is the same - except the fuel cap on the 2016 blue tank is different.  It requires a ring that mounts to the tank and the cap mounts to that.

This was at Flying Tiger Motorcycles in Maplewood (St, Louis) Missouri.  I walked in there, looking for a blue one and you know that they will go that extra mile to get you what you want.

LOL - I walked in to buy a blue V7 III that they had on the showroom floor, but when I got there - there was a nice man outside, fastening his license plate to it.

Oh well.

That's a 2018 and I think the asking price (with the blue tank) is in the neighborhood of $7,200
