Paul,

So, Moto Guzzi buyers are the problem? That is about as short sighted a view as the new owners on MFM dealership.

Im coming from the auto world... And having worked for VW for 25 years, saw much the same thing...  I agree its the diehard, old school owners... the guy that has 100K plus on their bike/car..  they are not coming to the dealers... they are not having service done..  but the shortsightedness of VW in the 90's... and guzzi the last...  oh a long time.. almost put them out of business. they are not doing whats needed to get NON Guzzi riders in...   The old school fans push the brand name...  we keep it out there, but without the new blood its gone. They have models that fit the new trends...  the bikes the people that dont normaly ride like...  but without supporting the dealers..  Noone knows anything about it...  Cant sell a bike that noone knows is there. And no matter what we fans do...  Mickey millennial, who wants to look cool riding to the coffee shop...  is not going to drive 300 miles to buy a motorcycle that he doesnt know about.

Sounds like Team Charlotte Motorsports has decided to take on the brand, putting a Guzzi dealer back in Charlotte.  From a post on the MGNOC Facebook today at least.
