V85TT tire or handling quirk

I've only had my V85TT Adventure (Anakee tires) out on a couple rides so I'm still getting used to it. One thing that seems a little odd is the front end feel when coming to a stop. Is it just me or does the front end get stiff / resistant to turning? Once rolling it feels neutral and predictable.

At first I thought the front tire was low on air but it checked out fine (35 psi). My guess is it's the tire tread pattern that's kind of 'locking' it to the road. It's not a bad thing, just different than other bike/tire combos I've ridden.

I haven’t had any problems with tires on my v85 in 4K..try to stay off rt.287...

Any chance the tire just needs to lose some of that brand new tread? I remember complaining of stiffness in turns when I slapped on my MT60s, and it didn’t take but just a couple weeks of riding until the problem was gone.

Yeah, 150 miles is barely scrubbed in. New bike on tires I've never used before. I'm sure it's fine but am wondering if it's only me who thinks it feels a little odd.

book calls for 39 front and 42 rear

Does it really?  Wow- I've been running 34 and 36-ish.  Single rider, no luggage.  Hooks up pretty good.

36 and 42 here. i am on my 2nd set of the Michilins and my first set had one of the bad front tires replaced under warranty.  still, this front tire seems better than the replacement 2nd front tire.  there may be some variation in the build quality on this model of tire at least for me, 3 different front tires, 3 different ride qualities.  i have not heard that about the metzlers on the standard model.
